Edwyn Collins "Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation" © Aed Records (March 14, 2025). The Scottish singer Edwyn Collins, record again after six years from your previous album, Badbea. His career as of February 2005 seemed to be truncated, after having suffered two cerebral hemorrhages. He practically lost his speech and had greatly limited the movements. Thanks to his perseverance and unconditional support of his wife, Grace Maxwell, Edwyn He managed to speak again and walk. In 2010 he recorded an album, corroborated with two more, until he reached this Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation. The album presents its distinctive sound, merging elements of country, rock, soul and Ryhtm and Blues or folk, in some more introspective song. You can't find yourself better accompanied, with your child Will On the bass, the guitarist of The pretenders, James Walbourne and the singer and multi instrumentalist Carwyn Ellis, Responsible for the Walesa Band Colorama. Despite the variety of styles in the compositions, as before, the melodic essence remains in its distinctive pop rock, and although there are moments of reflection on its past, the letters as a whole transmit a renewed optimism.
Dana Gavanski "Again Again" © Full Time Hoby (March 7, 2025). The Canadian singer -songwriter captivated the public in its beginnings five years ago. Although his second album showed a slight fall, he managed to recover with his third job, "Late Slap" (2024). This rise is reaffirmed with its new EP of five songs, which I consider their best compositions to date. Dana He has returned to the essence of his music and is radiant next to the vertical piano he has used. The collaboration of Syd Kemp Create the perfect atmosphere. The pity is that the 18 minutes are passed in a sigh.
Russ Lossing "Moon Inhabitants" © Sunnyside Records (February 21, 2025). Just as being an ungravation provides a unique sensation, the variable pulse of Russ Lossing and his trio provides a feeling of not being fully tied. His "Moon Inhabitants" It shows how your work has given the trio the ability to rise or deepen the rhythm, but they can also dance slightly and jump around it.
